These beautiful tea light holders are handcrafted in the Philippines using the finest of pearl oyster capiz shells. Designed in the shape of an open lotus flower, there are three rings of translucent capiz shell petals and the delicate all natural petals are dyed in a variety of beautiful colors that blend well with any home décor need.  These make wonderful home accent pieces and create a soft candle glow wherever they are placed.  Need a gift idea?  These are perfect!

The handcrafted process:  Single capiz shells are extracted by hand and individually placed in the handcrafted metal frame of the Lotus Flower by craftsmen who then polish, paint and lacquer each individual piece until it glows with color and vibrancy. These are made by skilled artists and tradesman under the guidance of the Navoa family whose business supports talented artists and craftsmen.





The lotus flower is universally recognized as a symbol of peacefulness, serenity and sprit.  They are often used for yoga, meditation and Chakra re-alignment.

Montessori Schools use these for their Light of the Child ceremony. It is a positive experience that represents the spirit of a child.
